As owner, trainer and manager of GoodFellas, I am an on-site owner and manage the day-to-day operations of GoodFellas.
Like most people, I have had dogs my entire life and they are truly my children and my passion. My life would not be complete without dogs in my home. And to be able to work with them everyday -- incredibly rewarding! Throughout my life I have participated in several different obedience disciplines including protection training, agility, scent training, tracking and therapy work!
I have a bachelor's degree in criminal justice from Salem State College and got my business experience from managing a 300 seat restaurant/bar in Salem for 6 years. I also worked for 10 years as an investigator for the Federal government before deciding to open GoodFellas Doggy Daycare in June 2012. My philosophy was to build a place for my Golden Retriever, Noah, that was clean, safe, educational and nurturing and without question, fun! If I could create a place that I was comfortable sending my dogs, then others would be comfortable sending their dogs too. And Noah loves swimming, so I had to give him a swimming pool!
All of my dogs attend GoodFellas. Moses & Wyatt who are both Golden Retrievers, Sadie, a Basset Hound and our Pug, Vinny!
Roberta has been with GoodFellas since the construction phase in 2012. As weekend manager, Roberta chaperones GoodFellas' weekend boarders and assists with GoodFellas' training program. When not playing with dogs, Roberta works for the Massachusetts Trial Court. Roberta spends her free time with her two Golden Retrievers, Caleb and Negan. Roberta is certified in Pet First Aid & CPR.
Gianna joined the GoodFellas team in May of 2023. GoodFellas is Gianna's first job and she has quickly become a valued member of the team! Gianna is currently attending high school and enjoys cooking and spending time with her fur baby, Ellie.
Sophia became a member of the GoodFellas Family in April 2022. As a senior attending Saugus High School, Sophia enjoys school activities, plays clarinet in the school band and demonstrates a dedication to her academics. Sophia also enjoys volunteering and has spent time with Bags of Hope and working with Saugus High School's Summer School Program. Sophia is a quick learner and has brought so much to the GoodFellas team. Her tempered, yet upbeat, bubbly personality, strong work ethic and love for animals makes her a solid resource on the daycare floor. Sophia aspires to attend college in the veterinary field. When not working or participating in school activities, Sophia enjoys time with Copper her Shih-Tzu.
