From Puppy to Adult, GoodFellas Training Program can provide you with the tools you need to raise a well mannered member of the family!

GoodFellas Training with Anna Strasnick is a results-oriented program designed to use verbal/physical praise as the reward and is not clicker or treat-only based training.  Anna has been training dogs for over 10 years, 5 of which were under the tutelage of a long-time State Police K-9 Trainer.  She is a member of the International Association of Canine Professionals (IACP) and an AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator.

All dogs learn differently and often at varied paces.  Our training works with each client and  is adjusted to meet the needs of  you and your dog, with the use of praising good behavior and correcting inappropriate behavior.  Just like human children, your dog will learn faster when you praise him and celebrate the good stuff, but you also need to let them know when they are doing something wrong.

At GoodFellas we train You to effectively communicate with your dog with the use of your voice, leash and body language.  After all, what you do in dog training carries equal weight to how you do it!

All group courses, unless otherwise stated, are 1 full hour in length and  meet once a week for six weeks  ......................................... cost $250.00

>>Dogs participating in training-only, are not required to be spayed or neutered.

>>Proof of vaccinations (Rabies and Distemper are needed for adult dogs.  Puppies require age appropriate vaccinations and a clean fecal test)

Puppies 6 months and younger are welcome to attend our Puppy Social!   Puppy Social is a great opportunity for your pup to learn some basic obedience skills and the difference between good behavior and unacceptable behavior.  We also complete exercises to help build confidence and teach good social skills as they socialize and learn with other puppies under the careful leadership of our Trainer.  Puppy Social also includes a short PowerPoint;  discussing Canine Body Language and Dog-On-Dog Play, When To Interrupt

Basic Obedience is a comprehensive class where we teach on-leash, sit, down, stay, loose leash walking, recall, leadership, bonding and confidence building exercises with the use of agility equipment, "stranger danger" and more!

Want more reliability?  In Intermediate Obedience, we strengthen Basic Obedience skills by adding duration, distance and distractions!  This course reinforces basic obedience disciplines while adding real life distractions.

The AKC Canine Good Citizen (C.G.C.) Program is a two part program that is designed to teach responsible dog ownership to owners and via a 10-Step, non-competitive test, to certify dogs that have the training and behaviors needed to be reliable, well-behaved members of their families and communities.  C.G.C. is the gold standard for dog behavior and may come with additional benefits for those looking to rent an apartment or condo or recognition of completion for obtaining homeowner's insurance or discounts from homeowner's insurance.   The C.G.C. Test welcomes both purebred and mixed breed dogs and those who pass will receive a certificate of title from the American Kennel Club!  Click on the link below for more details.
